Kyle David Pierce was born in Bozeman, Montana, to Patricia and Glenn Pierce, and was the second of their two sons. Soon after, the Pierce's relocated Mission Viejo, California. Kyle began his theatre career at 12 when he was cast in a play at the Laguna Playhouse in Laguna Beach and he began his formal training with the Laguna Playhouse’s Conservatory and Repertory programs. Kyle moved to Los Angeles after graduation and continued his theatrical training at Santa Monica College. Since relocating to Los Angeles, Kyle has been cast in numerous shows including the Downtown L.A. production of RENT (2011) and the west coast premiere of Steven Yockey’s CARTOON. Prior to RENT, Kyle's portrayal of Matthew Shepard in Chris Phillips' production of REVOLVER (2010) was met with overwhelming response and the show received a nomination for Outstanding Los Angeles Theater at the 22nd Annual GLAAD Awards.

Kyle joined the Marvel Universe in 2015 with his appearance on Marvel's AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. as an undercover Hydra agent. Kyle can also be seen along with Emmy winner Crystal Chappell (DAYS OF OUR LIVES and VENICE) and Denise Alexander (GENERAL HOSPITAL) in Steve Silverman's web series, THE INN, as well as a guest star on the two-time Emmy Award winning show VENICE. Kyle also co-stars as Brian in the new web series by Nigel Campbell called THREE'S A CROWD.

Kyle coaches actors at Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop where he also studies. He is represented theatrically by The Savage Agency, commercially by NTA Talent, and managed by Brandon Cohen with BAC Talent.
